That's a Wrap, Knowledge Day 2024

Each year at Superior Ag’s Agronomic Knowledge Day, guests are encouraged to learn, engage, network and succeed together. This year’s event was held on August 15, and we were thrilled by this year’s record-breaking attendance with over 430 guests in attendance! Thank you so much to those who attended this year’s event – we are grateful for the opportunity to showcase Superior Ag’s Agronomy Team and the expertise they can provide area farmers.

Those in attendance got the opportunity to hear five sessions from industry and local experts that discussed practices and knowledge to take back to their farm. This year’s topics were Superior Acre: Managing Your Crop to Its Full Potential, Don’t Be Complacent When It Comes To Weed Control, Biologicals: Fact or Fiction, Seed: Secrets to a Strong Foundation, and Debunking Fertility Myths.

This year, the SharkFarmer, Rob Sharkey, delivered an inspiring keynote sharing his story of overcoming the hog market crash of 1998 and through starting an outfitter business, and how the emotional support of his father is what made all the difference – even if his dad didn’t understand his son’s choice at the time.  He ended by encouraging those in attendance to talk about the future of the farm with their family members in a respectful and understanding way just like his dad did for him. Everyone has had their share of successes and setbacks. Thank you again to Rob for reminding us that the important thing is to continue moving forward through whatever life, the economy, or the swing of the seasons may throw your way. We hope Rob inspired everyone to approach each day with passion and perseverance.
