Iconic Superior Ag Logo Gets a Fresh Look

HUNTINGBURG, Ind. (September 7, 2023) — Sixteen years after its formation as one cooperative from the union of four longtime county Farm Bureau Co-ops, southern Indiana-based Superior Ag has given its iconic red-and-black logo a visual recharge.
Like a fresh coat of paint on a beloved old family barn, this is not a revamp or major replacement - it’s simply an update to make the agricultural co-op’s well-known logo more modern and uniform across Superior Ag’s locations. The design — as well as the company’s new “Your Home Team” message — reflects the evolution of the company, and of agriculture, while remaining true to Superior Ag’s longtime identity.
“As our cooperative continues to grow and evolve, it is very important for our brand to reflect the current marketplace, as well as the current and future state of the company,” said Chelsea O’Brien, Superior Ag Marketing Communications Manager. “It was important to maintain the same emotional feeling, color scheme and brand recall of our current logo, while at the same time creating a version that will be applied the same on all our materials across the board.”
The refreshed logo still prominently features the four red swooshes, which honor the four founding cooperatives. At the same time, it symbolizes Superior Ag’s four divisions of Agronomy, Livestock Nutrition, Grain, and Energy.
What is not changing is Superior Ag’s commitment to superior service and support for its customers and farmer-members. With nearly a century of experience behind this co-op, Superior Ag is looking forward to continuing to be on its customers’ home team well into the future.
