Showmanship Success with Superior Ag Feed

Nutrition is a key aspect to all successful livestock operations. Especially for the young producers that show livestock, learning to feed the correct diet can help produce a more competitive show animal. As producers learn how different diet components can affect the animal’s growth potential, they can apply what they learn to future herds, whether competing for a title or a premium price at market time.

Working with a nutritionist to create a diet specific to the animal can make all the difference. Superior Ag works hard year-round to make sure producers have adequate resources available to make sure they are reaching peak potential on their operations.

Superior Ag would like to thank each family who worked alongside our nutritionists to choose the best program for their livestock animals this year. A special shout out to The Martin Family, who received Grand Champion Overall Barrow and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Gilt at the Indiana State Fair.

“This State Fair sets the bar for the entire country. There’s a champion out here tonight, that is the best one I have ever got to name champion and I’m going to tell you; he’s probably the best one I’ve ever seen.” – Judge Kelton Mason

The Martin family’s barrow was fed the Superior Ag Express 19% and the Express 15% ShowPig feed made at Superior Ag using the ShowRite 10.0 premix.

“We are so comfortable using Superior Ag feed because we know the corn is tested, the quality of the grind is very good quality, and the feed is always fresh and has a great smell to it.” – Kelly & Scott Martin
