Superior Ag and CountryMark's Fueling Freedom Events Raise Funds for Local Military Families

Jul 09, 2024
Our troops defend our country and our people every day. This Fourth of July, we wanted them to know how much we appreciate what they do for us. For the 16th year, CountryMark hosted it’s annual Fueling Freedom fundraising activity. For every gallon of fuel pumped during the event, CountryMark and Superior Ag donated 50 cents to a local organization that helps our military families. More than 12 military family support organizations will benefit from Fueling Freedom in 2024.

Here is what we were able to accomplish this year with your help!

Huntingburg
2,684 gallons & $376.00 in cash donations = $1,718.00
Gift Card Winner: Judy Wheat of Jasper

Princeton
1,477 gallons & $450 in cash donations = $1,188.50
Gift Card Winner: Angie Huey of Princeton

From both Superior Ag stations, we were able to raise $2,080.50 from fuel sold + $826 in cash donations for a grand total of $2,906.50 for local National Guard Family Readiness Groups and the USO!

In total, CountryMark's 2024 Fueling Freedom events raised $55,705 to support local National Guard Soldier and Family Readiness Groups (SFRG) and the United Service Organizations (USO). Thirty-five stations participated this year, collectively selling 85,556 gallons of gas during the event.

Since 2013, Superior Ag has been participating in this event and has been making a difference in the lives of many in SFRG and USO groups. The SFRG use their funds to send packages to deployed soldiers, offer after-school programs for children of American soldiers, host summer family picnics and hold Christmas dinners. These groups offer a strong support system for American soldiers and their families. The USO groups use these funds to continue programs and services designed to support deployed service members, military families, transitioning troops, families of the fallen and injured service members. The USO strengthens America's military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country through their service.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in and volunteered for our 2024 CountryMark Fueling Freedom events!
