This oat and alfalfa-based feed is composed of heavy ground oats and high quality ground alfalfa to give the horse an alternative to a traditional oat and alfalfa diet. This feed is designed to provide a lower cost alternative to the pricing challenges we are seeing in today’s oat and hay feed market. It is suitable for a wide range of horse lifestyles, and, is composed of safe and digestible ingredients. Thirty five percent of the fiber in this feed is from alfalfa and forty percent of the digestible protein is from oats.

EXCEL EQUINE NATUR-ALFA OAT is a natural oat and alfalfa hay based feed specially designed to meet the needs of a wide range of horse lifestyles. Ground oats provide an excellent source of highly digestible protein and the ground alfalfa hay provides a high quality source of fiber. It is fully fortified with optimal vitamin and mineral levels. When fed as directed EXCEL EQUINE NATUR-ALFA OAT horse feed will meet or exceed the nutritional requirements of the horse as specified by the National Research Council. Feed at the rate of 0.5 to 1.5 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight divided into at least 2 equal feedings. Adjust the amount fed to maintain desired body condition. All EXCEL EQUINE horse feeds should be fed with good quality hay and/or pasture and free choice salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Store feed in a clean, dry place protected from insects and rodents. Never feed moldy or insect infested feed to horses as it may cause illness, abortion or death.
